This morning at our church's service, I sang "All to You" by Kathleen Carnali. Half of my normal music team was absent today, so unfortunately I was flyin' solo. And I just about started hyperventilating because it has probably been over two years since I got up and sang without anyone up there with me.
So needless to say, I was extremely nervous. It's a good thing I was wearing a skirt or else everyone and their dog would have seen my knees knocking together. My hands were shaking so badly that I fumbled a bit of the piano part at the beginning, and my voice shook at a few wee parts. So this wasn't exactly my best performance in the whole wide world....
BUT...
That's not the point. The point is that I love this song and it's message, and I wanted to sing it for my Jesus on Resurrection Sunday.
So because I love singing and I love this song and the sweet and wonderful May Michael wanted to hear it, I'll share the video with you all anyway.
Oh, my soul can finally see
All because of You
I lift my hands, this heart is free
All because of You
Oh, Spirit come, the victory's done
All because of You
I must proclaim salvation won
All because of You
With every song and every breath
I will do it praising You
When I must fight with all that's left
I will do it praising You
And should I die a martyr's death
I will do it praising You
And when I wake in perfect rest
I will do it praising You
When I stand before Your throne,
I will stand in awe of You
Clothed in white, my sin atoned
I will stand in awe of You
And every tribe and every tongue
I will stand in awe of You
Oh, Lamb of God, Almighty One
I stand in awe of You
Oh, Lamb of God, Almighty One
I stand in awe of You
Enjoy!

That is a lovely song!
My two favorite Easter (not solely easter) songs are "How Deep the Fathers Love for Us" and "Hallelujah, what a Savior".
LOVE them. they are so thought provoking and move me to tears the way the convey my precious Savior's sacrifice. Hope you had a lovely easter. :)
Wow! You have an amazing voice! The whole thing sounded beautiful! You have a real gift.
Nice job! You have a beautiful voice and can play the piano beautifully!
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. :)
You are AMAZING! I can see just by watching the video how much you love the Lord, and love singing! I love singing too, but only ever do it when I'm alone at the piano, because in my opinion, I sing TERRIBLY! Your voice sent shivers up and down my arms as I listened, and that only ever happens when I listen to Celine Dion or Susan Boyle! You are truly lovely to listen to.
Natalie,
I love "How Deep the Father's Love for Us". It's such a gorgeous song! Is that second song you mentioned the one by Laura Story? That one is so pretty! Yes, I had a lovely Easter, and it was fun to read about yours! =)
May,
Thank you! LIke I told you in my texts, I was soo nervous, though. :P
Abbi,
Thanks! I LOVE playing the piano. I used to take lessons, but I stopped after I graduated.
Jillian,
Thanks, Jillian. =) I do love to sing.
Jemsy,
Thank you muchly! Yes, I believe singing is my main way of worshipping the Lord. He is so great and awesome, and deserves the best I can give! =) Awww, thanks so much! =) And thank you for visiting! I hope you will come again soon.
You have a gorgeous voice Payton =D I also sang a song with my sisters and my mom, and since it was my first time up there, I almost died walking onto the stage (I exagerate a lot) But you sounded amazing, and you didn't even look nervous. Great job!

OOOH! YAY!!! Another person who LOVES playing the piano! I could spend HOURS just laying the piano, its just a beautiful instrument! I heard this quote somewhere, and rather liked it.
"No other acoustic instrument can match the piano's expressive range, and no electric instrument can match its mystery." KENNETH MILLER
So you can obviously tell I am delighted to find out that you love playing the piano! (It's not often that you fing someone like that!)
Goosebumps!!!
